CFIA recall of table eggs in Cape Breton and Newfoundland

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a recall for eggs produced by Hilly Acres Farm in Cape Breton yesterday. No eggs produced or distributed by Atlantic Poultry Incorporated are involved in this recall.

The eggs being recalled come from the grading station in Cape Breton with the establishment number N-38, and the best before date is between September 2nd and October 31st. Some Nova Eggs were covered in this recall, but only those with establishment N-38. As you know, API markets eggs under Nova Eggs packaging as well, but our establishment number is N-1.
