Title: Grading Station Shipper

Employment Status: Permanent Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm    

Starting Rate: $14.86

SUMMARY

API is continually upgrading its operations to ensure that high standards are maintained. We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Grading Station Shipper at our plant in Port Williams, Nova Scotia. 

The Grading Station Shipper is responsible for palletizing product, picking orders/assembling orders, printing of invoices and route summary sheets inventory control, ensure gg boxes are accurately marked prior to shipping, and loading and unloading of trucks. This work can be repetitive, fast paced and physically demanding.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·         Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.

·         Strong commitment to health & safety.

·         Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple demands.

·         Ability to lift up to 23kgs (50lbs) for extended periods.

·         Team player

·         Comfortable using computers for basic data entry

·         Pleasant, outgoing personality, with a friendly positive approach to customer service.
