We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager, the role would suit someone with a strong administrative/analytical background but is capable of managing people.

 

The Vacancy- We are looking to offer the position of assistant manager to a dynamic, computer literate individual capable of multitasking, who wants to work within a livestock production environment helping manage a chick hatching facility in New Minas. Reporting into the site manager your day will be a mix of “hands on” work in the site helping manage a small team along with office-based work carrying out administrative and analytical duties. In this role you will be a key part of the site decision making process. The role requires a “can- do attitude”, an enthusiasm for accuracy and the desire to drive efficiencies.

 

The Candidate – could come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Someone who is analytical, has attention to detail and likes part of the day in the office and part of the day involved with production and managing staff would do well. Alternatively, if you have engineering skills, you like managing people and you are an analytical problem solver then we would be interested in meeting you. Strong excel skills would be seen as an advantage.
